THE MAKERS

We are a multidisciplinary team of six students at the Rochester Institute of Technology, looking to make design education more approachable. As creatives ourselves, we’ve experienced the frustration and confusion that comes with trying to navigate the robust field of digital design.

Start ideating early. Our team started brainstorming project ideas before the semester and it still took us many weeks to nail down our project idea with the help and advice from professors, alumni and fellow students.

Find your groove. Planned meeting times and regular check-ins helped us stay on the same page and keep up to date with important submission deadlines.

Don't be afraid to try something new. The evolution of our project idea took many twists and turns and sometimes mistakes can lead to serendipitous creations.
