UNIQUE
We embrace the uniqueness of NYC wholeheartedly and aim to showcase the many areas of variance, whether that's in the poeple, the artwork, the stations, or even in the metrocards.
EDUCATIONAL
Viewers are able to learn from the perspective of someone who is familair with the environment. Numerious elements show the user what the experience is like.
COMMUNITY
The NYC Subway caters thousands of people daily and making sure those different communites were represented was vital.
Massimo Vignelli
Vignelli was a huge influence when thinking about how to depict the over 400 stations within the MTA system. Using his map design, I strived to replicate that distinct look found in the simplistic colors and lines.

Overall, there was atleast 4-days worth of train riding put into capture some of the visuals used in this project. Including many videos, stills, and soundbites that weren't used.
